According to the offcial news, Monaco YS is available exclusively in a black DLC(diamond-like-carbon) treated and hardened stainless steel case. With the ingenious technology, the watch will maintain a scratch-resistant surface. The black dial supports dark grey, furnished with wave-pattened underpainting. The hour and minute hands are equipped with dark grey luminous material which glows in the dard.
The power-reserve indicator is placed at 12 o’clock. Power-reserve is 42 hours. The small seconds display with a date window in the center is placed at 6 o’clock. Grey luminous material has been applied to the central hours and minutes hands, as well as the hour markers. Water-resistance is 200 meters.
An exhibition case-back reveals an excellent view of the black winding rotor and the mechanical movement.
The self-winding movement features a power reserve indicator and an oversized small seconds register. The 42.7 mm case is fitted with a unidirectional rotating bezel with a diving scale. Each case is individually numbered.
