Despite the high prices however, Omega is one of the highest selling watch brands. This is for two main reasons;

The first reason is Quality.

Omega watches are known for their brilliant quality. The company know this and do their best to play on this but they are not the only ones that need to do this. Distributors and those that sell watches in shops all know that Omega watches are of very high quality too and this is certainly one of the unique selling points when consumers decide they want to buy. But that is not all. Anyone that knows anything about watches for example consumers looking to buy watches also know of the high quality of Omega watches and are therefore already in a position where they need only to choose the right style that suits them.

This brings us on to the second reason – Style.

Together with the high quality, Omega watches also boast many fine styles too. Some of these styles, including the Planet Ocean range and the Seamaster range are considered to be two of the nicest and most sought after styles of watches around. Again, both the seller knows this and can play on this to their advantage, and the consumer knows this too. In fact, such are the popularity of these styles that when a new model hits the shops, the individual watches can be hard to pick up as they are so much in demand.

With these two considerations in mind, consumers can go to their desired locations to buy Omega watches at ease knowing that they will be getting value for money. Although some may disagree, price for Omega watch lovers is not the biggest factor. If these consumers decide they want a particular watch, then they will buy that particular watch.

So in conclusion, although Omega watches can be expensive, it is not the price consumers are looking at. It is actually the watch itself and the individual watch models particular style and level of quality that consumers are interested in. Let us hope they find what they are looking for!

We are so interesting in wristwatch, but I think many wristwatch fans aren’t clear about the invention of wristwatch. Let us review this special story. At a party in Paris in the early 1900s, Alberto Santos-Domont explained to his friedn Louis Cartier how one cannot tell the time on a pocket watch when his two hands are busy. Cartier was very seriously about this request in 1904. With Edmond Jaeger’s help, he created the first wristwatch prototype that would enable his friedn to tell the time without taking his hands off the flying control.

Today, the spirit of the first unique Santos de Cartier is echoed in the unique Only Watch white gold Santos triple 100. The case of this watch is based on the famous Santos case invented in 1904, which, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Santos, was reworked in 2004 – hence the name Santos 100.

 The Santos 100 has three different faces: the first being white with Cartier black Roman numerals; the second, totally engraved with an exotic dragon and a third position, halfway between the two faces, offers a totally transparent view of the unique highend manufacture square skeleton movement, which has been 100% developed at the Cartier manufactory in La Chaux-de-Fonds.

Since this skeleton movement was intended to be very pure with a lot of “air” around it, the Cartier team had to redesign the bridges in order to ensure that they could support the movement.

In the today’s watch manufacturing, new material was used becomes a new trend. Among those new material, Liquidmetal alloy is very important now. The Liquidmetal alloy represents a metallic material, featuring a disordered, non-crystalline atomic structure. Its fusion temperature is two times lower than that of the traditional titanium alloy. But it becomes three harder than stainless steel when it is cooled. This material’s amorphous structure enables its seamless bonding with the ceramic bezel. Liquidmetal alloy includes five components: zirconium, titanium, copper, nickel and beryllium. Due to its low critical cooling rate, a bulk metallic glass can be turned into a structure, measuring a thickness of more than a tenth of a millimeter. Zirconium is an important component of both the Liquidmetal alloy and the ceramic material, created from zirconium dioxide. The hardness of these two elements ensures great scratch and corrosion resistance of the smooth bezel.

Richard Mille is good at designing automatic diver’s watch, after successful announcing RM 025 tourbillion chronqraph, the company unveil RM 028 recently which inherited from the RM 025 the round shape of its powerfully-designed case. Now it measures 47 mm.

RM 028 provides 300-meter water-resistance. With a three-part case construction and torque screws, it can provides the remarkable water resistance. And the lugs of RM 028 has been completely integrated into the case system.

F.P.Journe, the famous watchmaker, released its newest Chronometre Bleu watch on October 2. We are happy to see the new watch that demonstrates unparalleled chronometric features.

With a 39mmcase of the novel timekeeper which is rendered in tantalum featuring blue hues, we are confident in its character. Tantalum is not commonly employed in the manufacture of timepieces, because it involves many sophisticated technology since this material has a density of 16.3 anda requires a very high fusion temperature of 3000°.

From the watch’s external appearance, the chrome blue dial’s style is very coordinated. The massive Arabic numerals on the watch dial, presented in cream color. The watch collectors’ world never lack of news. After a swift battle between a Hong Kong and a Thai collector on the Net, recently there was an auciton took place at the Monaco OnlyWatch, an American collector on the phone, the unique MB&F HM2 piece, created with artist Sage Vaughn, was sold for $85′240. Its new home is now Hong Kong.

To establish fund reserch agains muscular dystrophy, the Only Watch charity auction has collected over 2,3 million Euros during this exceptional sale. Each year, the “Only Watch” auction features unique or one-off watches from a large array of watch makers that are auctioned off for charity. If the watches are part of a limited edition, they typically need to be the first watch off the line. Other watches are totally unique – ranging from special colors to completely different models.

Sage is a young artist whose solo shows have won widespread critical acclaim. He featured a bright blue butterfly into the Piece Unique HM2, trapped in a movement surrounded by barbed wire. Eveyday I always introduce the watch’s news for you, today I want to change my habbit. A new clock will be introduced for my friends, maybe it would make you exciting.

Celebrating their birthdays or anniversaries is in the best traditions of many horological companies. Such an event, however, is not always marked with the release of a product that bears an eloquent inscription birthday.

This is a spectacular element of the design work, performed at Jaeger-LeCoultre in the Atmos branch. Since 1920s, the Atmos creations have been regarded as the most appealing desk clocks in the world.

The complicated mechanism employs insignificant changes in the environmental temperatures for animating the clock. It is considered to be almost perpetual, since it requires neither winding, nor batteries.

The limited series Birthday Atmos clock from Jaeger-LeCoultre, reviewed by Watches.InfoNIAC.com, is powered by the entirely hand-made Caliber 564 movement. This clock has been manufactured from many different materials: a large amount of rhodium plated steel, mother of pearl, the dial is coated with, and diamonds, mounted on 8 out of 16 models.

The clock dial is marked with fancifully repeated inscription Atmos Birthday. Due to their unique nature, the Jaeger-LeCoultre Atmos clocks have become the most preferable presents, high society individuals choose to give to each other.
